I need your help on how I can get free internet access using my phone cut GPRS network with my laptop via Bluetooth or USB connection to my laptop. How can I then use the free service?
I need a connection that can work anywhere in the world. Pls I really need your answer

I can get online just by having my laptop next to a window to a few connections out there including one that is secured but I'd like to have my own so I can do banking. US Cellular tells me I need to buy a router box (I have one that came with my laptop) and then the USB little connector then pay them $69 a month for service. I don't understand why I need to have the router box instead of just plugging in the little USB connector and when I go to AT&T to read up on it every thing seems confusing, no one has answered my questions. Thanks

Bill Lae, Unfortunately Verizon has updated and further locked down their firmware since I wrote this post. In order to get this hack working with the latest Verizon phones, I believe you have to perform a seem edit to enable editing of the WAP servers. Checkout Howard Forums for a wealth of information about seem editing and enabling free WAP on the newest Verizon phones.

Make sure you have included the “@vzw3g.com” on the end of your username, and that your password is all lowercase “vzw”.

I also get the username/password message. My PC dials my phone correctly and then I get the message. Any ideas?
