| The Groupvine – Web Application Development
I joined Function Technologies in the Fall of 2006 when I was contacted by Scott Hurff about the possibility of some contract based work. Our discussion quickly evolved though, as we discussed his vision for Groupvine. It was clear that a more permanent partnership would be beneficial to both parties, as many of my ideas for TimeShare (college social calendaring app) could be seamlessly integrated into Groupvine, and benefit from Groupvine’s already extensive features. After three years of development, Groupvine was acquired in 2007. |

| WhoBook MOBI – Web Application Development
WhoBook MOBI is a mobile interface for 37 Signals’ excellent Highrise CRM web application. It’s built specifically for mobile phones, and provides read-only access to your Highrise contacts. Simply search for their name, and you’ll get back their contact information (with one-click dialing on the phone numbers) as well as any notes you’ve written about them. WhoBook MOBI also has text messaging support, so you can text WhoBook MOBI a name, and receive a text back with contact information. |

| CollegeGarage.com – Web Design
College Garage contacted me to develop an online marketplace that students at Wake Forest (eventually expanding to other schools) could trade among themselves. They envisioned a marketplace where textbooks, TV’s, couches, sports tickets, and more were exchanged freely, student to student, with no middleman. Because we were looking for a classified ads solution and looking to deploy quickly, I looked to the open source package phpBB, with the phpCA classifieds mod. I altered the software to create a custom template and some custom functionality for College Garage. |

| Wake Forest University Office of Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts – Web Design
I was hired for the summer by the Office of Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts at Wake Forest University to redesign their website and rewrite their content. It is done using Joomla CMS, and is designed to be “fun” as well as business-like. Primary goals of the design were easy and intuitive navigation, and high maintainability with a minimum knowledge of web design. |
